Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

CryptRing is operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] S.R.L., a company registered in Romania under [TRADE REGISTER NUMBER], VAT/fiscal code [CUI / VAT ID], with its registered office at [REGISTERED ADDRESS], Romania (“CryptRing”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@cryptring.com.

These terms are a binding agreement between you and us. They cover the CryptRing website at cryptring.com and everything on it: the scanner, token report pages, the trending feeds, the portfolio tracker, scan history, accounts, and the CryptRing Pro subscription. By using CryptRing you accept these terms. If you don’t accept them, please don’t use the service.

How we handle personal data is described separately in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

2. What CryptRing is — and what it is not

CryptRing is a read-only analytics tool. You paste a Solana token mint address and we read public on-chain and market data about that token, compute a RingScore between 0 and 100 from around 20 weighted risk signals, and present it with a plain-language verdict and a breakdown of the signals behind it.

CryptRing never connects to your wallet. We never ask you to connect a wallet, approve a transaction, sign a message, or share a private key or seed phrase. There is no wallet integration anywhere in the product. If any website, extension, message or person claiming to be CryptRing asks you to do any of those things, it is not us — treat it as an attack and report it to hello@cryptring.com.

To be explicit about what we are not:

• We are not a broker, exchange, dealer, custodian, or crypto-asset service provider. We never hold, transmit, or control your funds or anyone else’s.
• We are not an investment adviser and we do not provide investment, financial, legal, accounting, or tax advice.
• We do not issue, promote, endorse, sell, or underwrite any token, and we are not paid by any token project to score it or to score it favourably.
• We do not execute trades or route orders, and no purchase is ever made through CryptRing.

CryptRing does link out to third-party sites — block explorers such as Solscan, and a token's own website or social accounts. Those sites are independent third parties. Anything you do there is between you and them, on their terms and at your risk; we are not a party to it, we take no fee on it, and a link is not an endorsement of the token or the site.

3. The RingScore is not financial advice

The RingScore is an automated risk estimate, not financial advice. A high score means our checks found fewer red flags — it is not a promise that a token is safe, legitimate, or a good investment, and a low score is not a claim that a project is fraudulent.

The score is produced by software applying fixed rules to data that was available at the moment of the scan. It describes conditions that commonly enable scams — for example, an active mint authority, concentrated holdings, or thin liquidity. It cannot read intent, and it cannot predict what a team will do tomorrow. A token that scores well today can be rugged an hour later by a developer who simply chose to. Nothing about the score changes that.

Every scan is a snapshot. Scores change as the underlying data changes, and we do not re-run scans or notify you when a previously scanned token deteriorates.

You are solely responsible for your own decisions. Crypto-assets are highly volatile and you can lose everything you put in. Do your own research, and never treat a RingScore as a substitute for it.

4. Who may use CryptRing

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. By using CryptRing you confirm that you are.

You must also be using the service on your own behalf, or on behalf of an organisation you are authorised to bind. We don't verify age or identity, so this is a promise you make to us — but if we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it.

5. Your account

You can use the scanner without an account, subject to the limits in section 6. An account raises your daily allowance from 3 scans to 7 and adds saved scan history. CryptRing Pro removes the daily limit entirely.

Accounts use an email address and a password — there is no wallet login. Your password must be at least 8 characters, and you must confirm your email address before you can sign in; the confirmation link expires an hour after it is sent.

• Give us an email address you actually control, and keep it current — it is the only way we can reach you about billing or your account.
• Keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Tell us at hello@cryptring.com if you think someone else has access. Resetting your password signs out every existing session, which is the fastest way to lock an intruder out.
• One person, one account. Don't create accounts to get around your allowance — see section 14.

6. Scans, allowances and rate limits

How many scans you get depends on whether you're signed in and what plan you're on:

• Without an account — 3 different tokens per 24 hours, counted per IP address. Re-opening a report you have already seen doesn’t count again. After that we ask you to sign up.
• Free account — 7 scans per day. The allowance resets every day at midnight UTC, which may be a different hour where you live; unused scans do not carry over.
• CryptRing Pro — unlimited scans, subject to the fair-use ceiling below.

A separate technical ceiling of 15 scans per minute per IP address applies to everyone, including Pro. It exists to keep the service up, not to ration your allowance, and you will not hit it through normal use.

Browsing the trending feeds and looking up a wallet in the portfolio tracker never consume your allowance. Opening a token report does: each report you open counts as one scan, whether or not someone has generated that report before. Opening the same token again on the same day doesn't count twice — we refresh the existing result instead. So a Free account covers 7 different tokens a day, and re-reading them is free.

We may change these allowances. If a change reduces what you get on a paid plan, section 10 applies.

7. CryptRing Pro — price and billing

CryptRing Pro costs $20 per month. It is a rolling monthly subscription: it renews automatically each month, on the same day, until you cancel it.

Pro gives you unlimited scans, subject to the ceiling in section 6. We keep your scan history for as long as your account exists, and the app shows your 30 most recent scans — on Free and Pro alike. Re-scanning the same token within an hour updates that entry rather than adding a new one.

Unlimited scanning is what Pro is. Any feature we describe anywhere as planned or coming soon is not part of what you are buying, and you should not subscribe in reliance on it.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are collected by Stripe on their own hosted checkout page and never reach our servers — we never see or store your card number. Your use of Stripe's checkout is also subject to Stripe's own terms.

The price shown at checkout is the total amount charged, and nothing is added to it afterwards. Where we are required to account for VAT or an equivalent sales tax on your purchase, that tax is treated as included in the price shown.

If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend Pro features until payment succeeds. If it keeps failing, we may cancel the subscription.

8. Your 14-day right to change your mind

If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you have 14 days from the day you subscribe to withdraw from the contract and get a full refund — no reason needed, no questions asked. We honour this even if you have already used Pro during those 14 days.

To withdraw, just email hello@cryptring.com from the address on your account and tell us you want to withdraw. You don’t need a specific form of words. We’ll refund you to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving your request.

We apply this to every subscriber, wherever you are — not only where the law requires it.

The 14-day right applies to your first subscription to Pro. It does not restart on each automatic monthly renewal; renewals are covered by section 9 instead.

9. Cancelling Pro

You can cancel Pro yourself at any time: go to My scans, open “Manage subscription”, and cancel there. It takes effect straight away — no email, no waiting on us. If you would rather we did it, email hello@cryptring.com from the address on your account and we’ll action it within 2 business days.

Cancelling always takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep Pro until then, and we don’t charge you again. We never cut off a month you have paid for.

Outside the 14-day withdrawal window in section 8, we don't refund part-months — if you cancel mid-month, you keep Pro for the rest of that month rather than getting money back for it.

If we end your subscription for any reason other than your breach of these terms, we will refund the unused part of the period you have paid for, pro rata.

10. Changes to prices and plans

We may change the price of Pro or what it includes. If we do, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect.

A price change only ever applies from your next renewal, never to a period you have already paid for. If you don't want to pay the new price, cancel before it takes effect and you'll simply keep Pro until the end of your current period. Carrying on past that date means you accept the new price.

11. Data accuracy and availability

CryptRing depends on public blockchain data and on third-party data providers. That data can be wrong, delayed, incomplete, or briefly unavailable, and we do not control it.

When we cannot source a signal, we show it as "No data yet" and compute the RingScore from the signals we do have, rather than guessing a value. That means a score built on fewer signals is a weaker estimate than one built on all of them — the report tells you which signals were unavailable, and it's worth reading.

We don't promise any particular uptime, response time, or level of accuracy. The service may be unavailable for maintenance, provider outages, or reasons outside our control, and we may change or remove features.

12. Public token report pages

Token report pages at /token/… are public. They are indexed by search engines, can be shared by anyone, and generate a preview card when linked on social platforms. If you scan a token, you are generating a page that other people can find.

The verdicts on those pages are our honest opinion, formed by automated analysis of public data available at the time, and are published as commentary in the public interest — helping people spot conditions associated with fraud. They are not statements of fact about anyone's intentions or character.

If you represent a token project and believe a report contains a factual error, write to hello@cryptring.com with the specifics. We will look at it properly, and correct or update the report if you are right. We do not remove or improve a report in exchange for payment, and we do not accept payment to score a token favourably.

13. Wallet lookups

The portfolio tracker takes a Solana wallet address that you paste in and shows what that address holds. It is read-only and works entirely from public on-chain data — there is no wallet connection and no approval to give.

You can paste any address, including one that isn't yours. Everything shown is already public on the Solana blockchain, but you should still use this responsibly: don't use it to stalk, harass, profile, or dox anybody, and don't use it in a way that breaks data-protection or anti-harassment law where you live.

The address you look up appears in the page URL, so it will land in your browser history and in the logs of our server. We don't store it in our database. See our Privacy Policy for the detail.

14. Acceptable use

Please don't:

• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the service, or use bots, scripts, or automation to pull data out of it.
• Work around the scan allowance, the rate limits, or the signup wall — including by creating multiple accounts, sharing an account, or rotating IP addresses.
• Resell, redistribute, or republish RingScores or our data as a product or feed of your own without our written permission.
• Overload, probe, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure, or try to access accounts, data, or systems that aren't yours.
• Reverse-engineer the scoring engine to game it, or help a token project present itself as safer than our checks find it to be.
• Use CryptRing to break the law, to launder money, to commit fraud, or to promote a scam.
• Copy the service to build a competing product, or use automated means to extract our content for that purpose.

We may rate-limit, suspend, or block access that threatens the service, its users, or our providers — in urgent cases without warning.

15. Our public endpoints

Some of our endpoints respond without authentication. They exist to serve our own website and browser extension; they are not a public API product.

They come with no SLA and no support, we may rate-limit or throttle them at any time, and we may change, restrict, or withdraw them at any time without notice. Building anything you care about on top of them is at your own risk. Commercial redistribution of what they return needs our written permission.

16. Intellectual property

The CryptRing name, logo, design, copy, the RingScore methodology, and the software behind the service belong to us and are protected by intellectual property law. Using the service doesn't transfer any of it to you.

You may share links to token report pages freely, and quote or screenshot a report — including on social media — as long as you credit CryptRing and don't alter the score, the verdict, or their meaning.

The underlying blockchain data is public and belongs to nobody. Our selection, weighting, and presentation of it is ours.

17. Third-party data, services and names

We build on public data and third-party providers, including Helius for Solana on-chain data and DexScreener, Jupiter and GeckoTerminal for market data. Their availability and accuracy are not under our control, and we are not responsible for their services.

Solana, Helius, Jupiter, DexScreener, GeckoTerminal, Stripe and any token names or logos shown are the trademarks of their respective owners. We use them descriptively, to say what we are showing you. CryptRing is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partnered with any of them, and nothing in the product should be read as suggesting otherwise.

Report pages may link out to third-party sites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for what's on them.

18. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties, conditions and representations that aren't expressly set out in these terms — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

In particular, we do not warrant that the RingScore is accurate or complete, that a high-scoring token is safe, that a low-scoring token is a scam, that the data is current, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Nothing here excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded — if you are a consumer, you keep your statutory rights in full.

19. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for your trading losses. If you buy, sell, or hold a crypto-asset after reading a CryptRing report — or after not reading one — that decision and its outcome are yours.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for:

• any loss you suffer from buying, selling, or holding any crypto-asset, including a rug pull, a scam, a hack, or a price movement;
• any decision you make in reliance on a RingScore, a verdict, or any other output of the service;
• inaccurate, delayed, missing, or unavailable data, whether ours or a provider's;
• loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, or data, or any indirect or consequential loss.

Where we are liable to you despite the above, our total liability for all claims in any 12-month period is capped at the greater of: the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or €100.

None of this limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

20. Suspension and termination

You can stop using CryptRing whenever you like, and you can ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@cryptring.com — see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if we're required to by law, or if keeping it open would put the service or other users at risk. Where it's reasonable to do so, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.

If we close your account and you have paid for Pro, section 9 applies: you get the unused part of your paid period refunded, unless we closed it because you breached these terms.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and governing law — do.

21. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top always tells you when we last did.

If a change materially affects your rights and you have an account, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don't accept the new terms, you can close your account before then; if you're a Pro subscriber, you can cancel and keep Pro until the end of your paid period. Continuing to use CryptRing after a change takes effect means you accept it.

22. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Romanian law, and disputes go to the competent courts of [CITY], Romania.

If you are a consumer resident in the EU or EEA, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your own local courts.

If something goes wrong, please email hello@cryptring.com first — nearly everything is faster to fix that way. If we can’t resolve it, consumers in Romania can complain to ANPC (Autoritatea Națională pentru Protecția Consumatorilor), and consumers anywhere in the EU can use their national consumer authority or an approved out-of-court dispute resolution body.

23. Restricted territories

You may not use CryptRing if you are subject to EU, UK, US, or UN sanctions, or if you are located in a country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions. By using the service you confirm that neither applies to you.

24. General

• Language. These terms are written in English, and English is the language of the contract. A translation is provided for convenience only.
• Whole agreement. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us about the service, and replace anything said before.
• Severability. If a clause turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
• No waiver. If we don’t enforce something straight away, we haven’t given up the right to enforce it later.
• Transfer. You can’t transfer your rights under these terms to someone else. We may transfer ours if the business is sold or reorganised — your rights won’t be reduced by it, and we’ll tell you.
• Events outside our control. We aren’t liable for failures caused by something genuinely beyond our control, such as a provider outage, a network failure, or a chain-level event.
